Kalapiti is located on the south of the Nicoya Penisula and is conveniently located between some of the most attractive tourist destinations in Costa Rica. Here you will find incredible world class surfing beaches, tropical and lush jungle as well as beautiful rivers with majestic waterfalls. We are located near Montezuma and only minutes from Cobano, Mal Pais, Santa Teresa and the Cabo Blanco Absolute Nature Reserve, which was the first national park created in Costa Rica.

You can reach us by land by driving your vehicle or rental car from San Jose to the port town of Puntarenas. There you will take the ferry (Naviera Tambor) to Paquera. From Paquera you will drive to Cobano center and take a left towards Montezuma. After 1 km take a right at the cemetery and continue 5 km. When you reach a crossing take another right towards the town of Las Delicias. There you will pass two little corner stores, then when you pass the soccer field continue 200 meters and there you will see the entrance to Kalapiti on the left hand side.

By air you can fly www.flysansa.com or www.natureair.com. Both airlines will take you to the beach town of Tambor. Enjoy a quick 30-minute flight and see some spectacular scenery by air. From the airport in Tambor you can take a taxi to Kalapiti, about a 30-minute drive. You may also arrange for a car rental from Budget’s office in Tambor.
